We sent Pit Bull Hall dog Holly to her new home this weekend, and filled her people up with training protocol, lists of quality kibble to look into, and guidelines for keeping the peace between dog and cat.
One of the most important things we can offer them though, is advice for talking with the family and co-workers who are set to panic when they learn that Holly's a pit bull. It's just awful that we have to arm our adopters with ways to counter the negative crap they're going to hear from perfectly intelligent people, but such are the times.

Thanks for the recommended reading. I am finding The Pitbull Placebo an easy, fast read. I haven't been able to put it down. GREAT book!
